I started blogging in December of 2008. I had recently discovered the ALI (Adoption, Loss, Infertility) blogosphere and I decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. The focus was infertility.
For some reason, I didn’t tell my husband at the time (Mr. X) about the blog when I started it, but I always intended to. That is, until our marriage unraveled past the point of no return, or around the time that I realized that our problems weren’t due to the stress of infertility, or his job, or any number of things. The root of our problems was verbal and emotional abuse.
This blog has been a lifeline for me through our painful separation and divorce, through my move back to my home state, through my learning to stand on my own two feet again. I’ve learned so much since that first entry. My greatest desire is to keep learning and growing. This blog is a record of my journey.
I had to pack up and move my blog twice for privacy reasons.
The timeline for the three blogs (now synchronized into one) is thus:
blog #1–12/08 – 3/09
blog #2–4/09 – 9/24/09
blog #3– 9/26/09 – present
